High-pressure steam delivery has the following advantages:

3. The insulation cost of the pipeline is reduced.

4. Drier steam can be obtained at the point of use by decompression.

5. Boilers run closer to their optimum operating conditions at high pressure and are therefore more efficient.

6. When the boiler operates under high pressure, it has a large heat storage capacity, which helps to deal with fluctuations in system load and reduces the possibility of boiler steam-water azeotropy and steam entrainment. Therefore, the pressure of the steam system should be lower than the maximum design working pressure of the boiler, but it should be transported according to the pressure of the steam source as much as possible in order to improve the efficiency and economy of the steam system.
